bsod[27]

Have you seen this blue screen ! this is the death screen for Windows those who uses Windows will be familiar with this.This screen will be struck when the PC crashes.

Their are five simple reasons for the system crash those are shown below

1. Hardware Conflict
vsta_dvce_mngr_dvc_cnflctThe First reason for window system crash is hardware conflict.Each hardware device communicate to other devices using Interrupt Request Channel (IRQ).Each device will have unique IRQ in normal situations.If the devices are not installed properly and when the user tries to use two or more devices which are sharing same IRQ at the same time , their is a chance for crash.To check these hardware conflicts use this path
Start—>Settings-->Control Panel—>System—>Device Manager
If a device has a problem a yellow ‘!’ appears next to its description in the Drive Manager.

2. Bad RAM
badram
RAM (Random Access Memory) errors will be displayed on the blue screen as “Fatal Exception Error”.This might be a serious problem , in some circumstances it is needed to replace that RAM.The Fatal Exception Error might be caused by the mismatch of chips.Parity error messages are also refer to RAM.Modern RAM chips are either parity (ECC) or non parity (non-ECC).EMM386 error messages refer to memory problems but may not be connected to bad RAM.This might be due to free memory problems often linked to the old DOS-based programmes.

3.BIOS Settings
bios
A very simple way to access the BIOS setting is to press/hold the F2 (or) Delete button during the first few seconds while boot-up.It is a good idea to write down all BIOS settings on a peace of paper.A common BIOS error refers the CAS latency.It refers to the RAM.Older EDO (Extended Data Out) RAM has a CAS latency of 3.New SDRAM has a CAS latency of 2.The wrong settings can cause the RAM to lock up and freeze the computer`s display.

4. Hard Disk Drivers
hard-disk-drive-hdd-344438  To prevent the screen from freeze defragment the hard disk every week.To start the procedure follow the below path
Start—>Programs—>Accessories—>System Tools—>Disk Defragmenter
It is not possible to write data to Hard Disk Drive while the disk is defragmenting, so it is better schedule the procedure for a period inactivity using the Task Scheduler.To gain a better performance clean the Recycle Bin every week , clean the temporary file in the disk and finally Hard Disk Drives should be scanned for every week for errors/bad sectors, this can be done in the following way
Start—>Programs—>Accessories—>System Tools—>Scan Disk

5. Fatal OE exception and VXD errors
BSOD
Fatal OE exception errors and VXD errors are often caused by video card problems.These can often be resolved easily by reducing the resolution of the video display.
Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Display –> Settings

Take a look at the color settings on the left of that window. For most desktops, high color 16-bit depth is adequate.If you have video card hardware conflict, you will see it here. Be careful at this point and make a note of everything you do in case you make things worse.The way to resolve a hardware conflict is to uncheck the Use Automatic Settings box and hit the Change Settings button. You are searching for a setting that will display a No Conflicts message.
Another useful way to resolve video problems is to go to
Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> System --> Performance --> Graphics
